Today, I met with my surgeon, and found out that my insurance requires a 6 month supervised diet. My advocate projects that my surgery will be about November.  I am so ready to do this, and kind of upset that I have to wait so long. On the other hand, I am thankful to have  insurance that covers the sleeve !!  I love my surgeon so far, very down to earth guy and very easy to talk to . I can't wait to join the rest of you on the path to a better, healthier life !

Misty,
My entire process was 6 months.
I finally had my surgery last week on the 13th.
There were many times I was so ready to give up simply
b/c I was frustrated with the process.
But knowing that the process was part of the deal
and that if I did not abide then no surgery....helped
me get through it.
Stay strong!!
