4 month surgiversery - 73 lbs gone!

Four months post-op and I'm down 73 lbs, I feel and look fantastic.

One thing you'll notice as you drop off all the weight is that you will lose a lot of muscle and physical strength, that is why I decided to motivate and get stronger.

Few highlights from this past month:
- I decided to aggressively work out, started going to the gym at least 3 times a week and run twice a week 2-3 miles
- I do pushups and dips for triceps daily
- arms and chest are developing nicely

my diet consists of the following:
- protein shake every morning, Robb Joy strawberry flavor 24 grams of protein in each shake
- 2 hours later two hard boiled eggs with a 2% crackle barrel cheddar cheese
- 3 hrs later lunch around 4 Oz of meat with a small salad never finish the salad
- 2-3 hrs later I'll have a snack, usually a peanut butter to go cup with a few while grain crackers
- have whatever is for dinner, we're Dominicans do its always a meat with rice and beans, small amount of rice, about 2 tablespoons.

Water I attempt to get 80 Oz in, but its not that easy.

Vitamins, I take a molecularly distilled fish oil pill twice a day as well as a D3 supplement.

The weight loss has slowed down dramatically, but I'm not complaining because I'm still losing inches and gaining muscle.

I would love to post pics, but its too time consuming.

Best of all I am truly happy, my wife is happy and all my loved ones are elated with the choice I've made to live a better longer life.

Truly no downside to this procedure! Loving my sleeve and so is everyone else!!

I want to be like you when I grow up :) That's all post op right? Maybe I should start eating more! I eat like once a day, maybe twice with 2 shakes and probably like NO carbs! Puerto Rican over here so I feel you on the rice and beans but I have been scared of both! Maybe I'll start!

add a little rice and beans, shake it up and see what you think and how your body reacts.  Also, did you start your heand weights yet?
