Does anyone know why we can't have V8 juice during our post op liquid phase?

That was on my list of things I could have immediately post-op. I tried it but did not like it.

What did your doc/nut say when you asked them?

The only thing I can think of is that it is pretty acidic and that probably isn't good for a fresh sleeve.  It also has a good amt of sodium.

That would make sense!  Thanks!

My doc said it is very acidic and could irritate my stomach.  I did have tomato sauce once and really got a bad case of reflux.  I think I'll stay away from tomato -ee  things for a few more months...
