Final Weigh in for Surgery...

In 12.5 hours I will be stepping on the scale at my doctor's office to see if I've lost the necessary 5%.  It's been a rough weekend trying to get the water weight off from TOM, and making sure not to add any weight...so hopefully it will pay off.  If I make the cut then paperwork will be submitted to insurance and my surgery date is solidified.  Fingers crossed that all goes well.  Thanks!

does your insurance require that or your surgeon?

The hospital I am going through has an entire checklist of requirements and 5% weight loss is one of them.  When I met with my surgeon a couple of weeks ago he told me I had to meet the requirement before he would submit to insurance.  The only thing required by my insurance is BMI > 40 and 3 month supervised nutritional diet and visits.  The entire checklist for the hospital and the supervised diet were all complete by last Thursday, aprox 3 months total!
