First cold since surgery - medication advice?

I'm a little over 5 months out, and am experiencing my first cold...

Can I take medication like I used to?  Has anyone had bad experiences with Nyquil or psuedophed after surgery?  Do I need to not drink 30 minutes before/after medication?

Thanks!

I would say that at 5 months out you should be safe taking your favorite meds.  Drinking for 30 minutes after...its not food, so I would think that as long as your tummy feels fine, go for it.  You may find that your tiny tummy doesn't process those meds the same way though.

Ok, thanks!  If I do have any weird reactions to the cold medicine, I'll make sure to share!
