Does coffee affect your weight loss?

I started having 1 cup of coffee per day once I was sure I was getting 64 oz. of fluids in every day.  Those were the instructions I was given.  It seems to me that my weight loss has slowed down since I started having that one cup of coffee every day.  Has anyone else experienced this or something similar?

I just can't drink decaf.  I totally have an attitude problem with it.  If it isn't leaded, why drink it?

I have 2, sometimes 3 large cups a day and I have never had a problem.  Sometimes I think it helps, because I will have coffee instead of a snack.

I drank coffee all thru my WL period, and still do - AND I count it towards my liquid requirements for the day.  It's a myth that coffee is dehydrating - it's only dehydrating for someone who doesn't drink it regularly.

The only thing about coffee that slows my weight loss is the creamer I put in it!  Usually I use unsweetened almond-coconut milk, so not much of a hit.  Occasionally, yes, I pull out the half and half.  But just a little bit!!

I started my 2 wk. pre-op diet today and skipped my coffee fix in the morning....by afternoon I sub with 9 oz. of diet pepsi. I am thinking I should stick with coffee instead of soda.

Also, wondering if I should do SF creamer or FF creamer. Or is it strictly half n half?

Thanks for the information.

Goodness, I hope not.  That is the one thing I am not willing to give up.  I gave up the caffine, but the coffe is a must!
