Hi, is it normal to feel the new sleeve contracting (kind of pulling and releasing) from time to time while having the liquids. Thanks

Hi,
I'm 3 days out and I find that if my sips are too big, I get a tightness at the top of my stomach before the water enters and that's uncomfortable.  I usually stretch my neck upwards (look to the ceiling and sit up straight) and it feels better - maybe just in my mind LOL.  But even with small sips I get the gurgles and burps.  I'm hoping that goes away with time.

Hi. Same here, it is so uncomfortable, especially the contraction feeling, it is painful when it happens. I am 5 days post op and had difficult recovery during the first three days. Hope it gets better too :)

Yes your stomach moves twists and turns while digesting not sure why but after surgery you really feel it I say sometimes it feels like when I was pregnant and could feel the babies foot pushing . I am three and a half years out and still feel mine all the time eating and drinking
