I got my act together and lost 5 lbs in 3 days

Well recently I have been up-ing the carb intake and was reverting back to the old habits. And had the nerve to weigh myself daily to see if I was losing weight. Like really? You're an idiot!

Anywho. I got back to drinking my protein shakes and eating a high protein low carb diet and lo and behold it works! What I really needed was a lobotomy but hindsight is 20/20.

 I have been finding myself slipping back into old habits and/or eating way too many carbs and too much junk I shouldn't be as well.  I am back in the mindset that high protein is where its at and upping my (uncarbonated) fluid intake.  Here's hoping!

You and I had surgery near the same time.  I also have gotten more vigilant recently about the carbs and fluids.  This feels like an important time for me to stay focused.  I can tell I'm going to have to fight for every pound from now on!!  We can do it!!

It's easy to get back into the old habits!!!!  I've done the same thing lately and then frown at the scales when I'm not losing!!!  DUH!!!  Who do I think I'm fooling???  I'm getting back on track today!

I found this out the hard way last week, too! :) Finally lost 5 pounds after stalling out for 10 weeks due to food tracking and low carbing it...Go figure.
