I was sleeved on Monday too and I couldn't wait to hit the grocery store today for my cream soups!!  I just had my official "first sleeve dinner" of 2 TB cottage cheese with 1 TB applesauce....it was so yummy and filled me right up :). My doc said no tomato or citrus for 4 weeks- I wonder if the tomato soup upset your sleeve?

I love taking it easy, but I am going stir crazy!!  My dear husband took
MY 3 kids out for the afternoon and I have been laying low.  All this down time confirms that I would be one boring person without my husband and kids!!

Awesome! I have some Greek yogurt and sugar free preserves I was considering trying. Good to know a tablespoon is enough. I hear ya on laying low. Hubby has an event tomorrow so I will be relaxing. School starts Monday and I plan on starting back to work Wednesday so I need to soak up the rest. 3 kids wow! That's exhausting on its own.

It sounds like you are doing awesome.

Maybe your sleeve didn't like the tomato soup - tomato's are very acidic and your sleeve is very new.  Might just need something a little gentler on it right now!

Keep up your great work!

By the end of today, I got 2 shakes in and over my water intake so I'm pretty excited. It got easier to drink after the incident. Thanks for the encouraging words, I'm trying :)

Keep on trying! It'll get easier. I am doing better standing and drinking. I think I have a short torso and it pushes on my new tummy. Maybe try that. Just focus on healing and I hope your temp stays down :)

Wow!   You woke up feeling normal.  I was sleeved on Tuesday and certainly haven't felt normal yet.  I walked in the neighborhood yesterday, just the length of our cul de sac and felt like my stomach was going to fall off.  I cut back on the length of the walk today, but am still very sore.  I don't like the pain medicine.  The taste is horrible!  I am hoping maybe tomorrow I'll feeling going to the store.  We'll see.  I am still running a slight fever, so keeping a eye on that.

Take it easy on your self.

Definitely keep an eye on the fever. Good on you for walking. I started just walking around my house because it's 90 degrees here. Keep me updated on how you're doing!
