I was reading another forum that I frequent this morning and came across a link to something one of the members made. It's basically a downloadable file that you can put on your ipod or any mp3 capable device. The file contains music and verbal callouts for running and works you up to running 5k. I wasn't sure about it at first but I looked at the site and listened to the sample and I think it's a great way to get myself motivated and able to concentrate on the actual running instead of the time. This probably isn't for everyone and I'm not affiliated with them in any way but I thought it was pretty cool. www.sonicrunner.com

Another great tool is Couch to 5k. The program is downloadable on you iPhone or other device. This is my goal, to run a 5k.

If you look under her screen name at the left side of the screen, the doctor info is there along with the surgery date.  Not everyone puts that info there, but it is handy to see.

I started Using Easeinto5k at Ruggies sugestion and love it.  I'm on my third week.  The running is challenging in spots because the path in my neighborhood is very hilly.  But I get better each time.

Oh yeah, that's cool. I like the music on Sonic Runner but it's nice that this one has the option to use your own music.

Edit: keyboard fail
