Ever since I started eating I have not lost one pound. I am pretty on point with my protein, not the best, but then again I'm only 4weeks out. I drink about 90 ounces of water a day. Please tell me this is just that awful 3 week stall thing that you all talk about. And also, how the hell long do stalls last???

I hit my first stall at week 3 and it lasted a full 3 weeks. Your body is probably just readjusting. After my stall, I dropped quite a bit of weight right after. No worries!

Thanks. I sincerely hope this is what it is. I'm almost tempted to go back on my liquid diet.

I just started the puréed stage and I'm worried about that already also.  I'm only 2 weeks postoperative  so hopefully I don't stall this soon.   Good luck

For some of us, stalls happen! The three-week stall may be the most "famous", but you will find that your weight will plateau on and off throughout this process.  I am to the point where I only weigh myself once or twice a week, because I don't want to get frustrated if the scale isn't moving in the right direction all the time.  Just work your program and think about the BIG PICTURE, not the day to day!!

Definitely don't go back to liquids. It's important for our new tummys to graduate to more dense food per your surgeon's guidelines. Stalls suck! I've had one major one in my fourth month that lasted almost four weeks... Just keep the course and the weight will drop. I found that increasing my water intake (I get 120oz now but you probably can't do that yet) really helped.

I agree with Solstyce...don't go backwards.  Go forward.  Even though you are expecting that first stall, it messes with your head.  You think you are going to be the only one that had this surgery and still doesn't lose weight. You think you must be doing something wrong.  One day the scale will start moving again and there will be a little ray of sunshine beaming down on the numbers on the scale and a big smile will be on your face........just wait for it.

Bee is so right! That's exactly how it is! Except choirs of angels sing too. :)
