My fitness pal...exercise log...

In the my fitness pal app...there's a create your own exercise tab... How do you figure out how many calories each exercise is burning... Is there a formula? I mean what kind of calories am I burning lifting small choo choo trains compared to lifting small choo choo trains and running around the block with em?? I know the intensity and the resistance is a big impact on calories burned....but how do I put a number to it? There's got to be a formula, right?
