Any one have this?

 I am 4 yrs from surgery.  My legs feel like they have been overused all the time.  Worse when I use stairs.  I went to a specialist and he says he thinks its restless leg, so he put me on meds.  I have trouble sleeping.  He also has me taking 2 iron pills a day because he said when ferritin is below 50 you will have those symptoms.  My ferritin now is 22, but won't go any higher so he is sending me to hematologist for possible iron infusions.  Has anyone had this problem?

I am a little over 2 weeks post op & my legs aren't feeling right today...so I am assuming it's from not getting enough protein. My Dr.'s nurse warned us of this! I am really working to get my protein back up after a sudden illness over the weekend set me back. Please keep us posted as I am curious to see what is going on w/ you. i will hope for the best! My ferritin has been below 50 for a while but all other iron numbers are normal. It has been as low as 20 and is now in the mid 30's. I exercise a lot and have no issues with my legs at all. I am also almost 4 years out. Hope you get this sorted out.
