Michael, I'm so sorry that you are having to go through this! You must be exhausted on top of dealing with the physical symptoms and the frustrations. HOPEFULLY they will be able to let you go home soon when they cut through all of the nonsense and get you properly diagnosed and treated!!
I finally got some answers. I am being monitored because they saw a spot on my appendix in the CT scan. They were'nt sure if it's appendicitis or an infection. They added the antibiotics to the IV to be proactive incase it was an infection. They are drawing lots of blood and are keeping a close eye on my White Count and temperature. They told me im NPO so my body will present itself better.
Part of this craziness is because they are on a limited weekend crew. Oh, and its Christmas time. Short staff., skeleton crew I think.
Hopefully I'll more answers this morning.
Thank you all for the sweet comments and support. I think your all amazing.
God bless all of you.
Michael

Sounds like you are getting very good medical care...but that doesn't mean you are having fun, LOL!
I am happy that you are in good hands and I hope that you continue to get clear (and hopefully in real time!) updates about what they are finding and planning...
Hopefully Santa will spring you out of the hospital before Christmas...
Hang in there! Please visualize us all there at your bediside visiting you, talking and laughing and giving you hugs!
