Here is the recipe and the link to Shelly's site.  http://theworldaccordingtoeggface.blogspot.com/

Shelly's Baked Ricotta

8 oz of Ricotta Cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan
1 large Egg, beaten
1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
salt & pepper to taste
1/2 cup Marinara Sauce
1/2 cup shredded Mozzarella Cheese

Mix ricotta cheese, parmesan, beaten egg, seasonings together and place in a oven proof dish. Pour marinara on top and top with mozzarella cheese. Bake it in the oven @ 450 for about 20-25 minutes (best) or nuke it till hot and bubbly. I usually made it first in the oven and heated the leftovers in the microwave.

Just curious if anyone knows what the nutrition facts are for this recipe per serving? Sounds delicious!

That really depends on your ingredients used.

One past the puree stage, as a variation to this, I add ground beef to the marinara sauce to add protein. I also add 3 types of vegetables (usually thinly sliced courgettes and pumpkin roasted for 15 minutes first, plus fresh spinach leaves) then layer it up like a lasagne with no pasta. It's delicious.

I use this recipe, which is vegetarian and just brown up the beef and add the sauce.

Makes about 12 x 100g/4oz portions which I freeze.

I made this pre-surgery and scores in MFP for a 150g/6oz portion are...protein 26, fat 10, carbs 8

For me, the nutrition numbers are a little lower these days as I can only eat about 1/2 a portion (75g/3oz) at the moment. But it is one of my favourites.

It's about 3.5-4 ounces a serving. The one I posted is Shelly's Ricotta Bake it is here on The World According to Eggface.
