Down 90lbs in 17 weeks.. The roads still a tad bumpy..

I can't believe how fast 17 weeks have come & gone. The first 3 months flew by. The last 5 weeks- not so much. I started throwing up a lot around the start of week 13 & I still have yet to get it under complete control. Even with all of the nausea & vomiting that I've been experiencing I would still elect to have this procedure done over & over again if given the choice. My surgeons run every test imaginable & my sleeve looks perfect he's said. Thank God for zofran!!! As long as I take a zofran every morning I'm fine & I won't throw up for that entire day but the soonest I go without taking one I get sick as a dog & throw up stomach bile. Sorry- not to pleasant to think about or hear about- I know..
Overall I feel great, I'm still tired a lot of the time but as long as I'm not puking than I'm a very HAPPY camper. I never thought that I'd be down almost 100 lbs. in 5 months. The other day I was carrying a 20lb baby in his car seat up some stairs & I thought to myself "Just a few weeks ago I had 4 babies of fat on my body." Gross!!! I'm so glad the extra baggage is gone. I can move & breath easier now. I see a light at the end of the tunnel that I didn't see before & I am so grateful.

Best Wishes to all,

Hilary

Congrats! That's fantastic!

It's amazing how things come into perspective (e.g. carrying 5 babies less on our body) My sister-in-law saw me for the first time since I started dieting over the weekend and when she asked how much I lost, I said 130 lbs... it dawned on me at that moment that I'm pretty sure she weighs around 110-115.... and I've lost more than my entire sister-in-law... yikes! It's crazy, isn't it?

130 lbs. is phenomenal Nikke. You should be so happy. Your sis in law is very petite if she only weighs 110-115. It's very crazy Nikke but crazy in a good way.

Congrats on your awesome success!  I'm so sorry that you are so sick.  I hope it resolves itself soon :(  My toddler weighs about 23lbs, so I like to think of my weight loss in terms of how many of her I've lost.  Or my 50lb dog or my 95lb mother in law :)
