3days post-op and I'm still feeling bad

My stomach is really sore and when I take medications I think I'm over loading my stomach. How did people with VSG do at 3 days?

Just hang in there! It will get better. Give it about two weeks.

i had surgery 8-26 and was miserable at day 3. You can see from my whiny posts from a few days ago = lol. Today i feel alot better. My weight still above what i was on  pre op morning on same scale. Yesterday got in 62 oz fluids and 60 gm protien and  a BM - woo hoo. - maybe that why better today.... or probably just time. Hang in there - time is our best friend right now.

The 3rd day was pretty tough for me, but I attributed it to traveling back home that day. We had about a 7 hour drive to get back home. Every day got better after that though. 

My 3rd day was pretty rough. Though the pain wasn't too bad, I just felt terrible. I was so tired and just yucky and bleh! But, by day 4 and 5, I was feeling so much better. And continued to get better each new day. I'm 3 weeks out and I'm feeling great! Hang in there. You'll start feeling better. Just follow your doctors postop orders. 

I am 3 days out too. And I am having a rough time because of the pain. Had to call my surgeon. He said it was normal and to take the pain meds. Even take two if I needed to. It will get better for us soon!!

Day 3 was tough for me too...day 5 was when I finally turned the corner & started to feel normal again. Lots of walking, getting outside will help. It does get better.....hang in there....
