my frustration turned to laughter
I got up early last Saturday...had a million things to do but first I wanted to go to the gym. So I did go and spent a lovely hour walking. (monday to friday I do weights and an aerobic exercise)....I had a car accident which restricts the speed and distance that I walk but I do the best i can. If I was to fall outside the doctor has told me they could not put the pieces together again, so I have handicap parking to be close to a door (in icy weather) and because I need the room to maneouver my right leg into the car. Okay thats the back ground.....anyway....I came out of the gym after my lovely hour...recharged with a list of things running through my head that i had to do for the day....and some twit parked so close to my car that i couldnt budge the door open 6 inches let alone open to get my right leg in there.....so I was mad...the gym said they didnt have a PA system and they told the manager the situation and none of them could think of a solution....meanwhile Im grumbling one of you could probably climb in the other side and move my car back....but I stood there for 15 minutes when suddenly I realized Im quite a bit lighter than I used to be and I work out everyday....hmmmm......I thought I would give it a go climbing over the console into my car from the other side...needless to say I was in the drivers seat in 10 seconds....and I laughed at myself all the way home. The boys at the gym were probably wondering why I didnt just do that in the beginning...but I forgot that Im down 10 clothing sizes.
I figured that is the type of humerous situation my obseity help community would appreciate...(so happy the driver didnt come out and I didnt freak out at them)..hope you having a nice day and a happy new year.
I love that! Something similar happened to me recently. some guy parked really close to me and I was CERTAIN that I couldn't get into my car. My best friend just looked at me and said, "Girl, you've got this!" I squeezed in with no problem! I was SHOCKED... 6 months ago? No way, no how.

Love your story! I got in my car this morning and was convinced someone had been driving my car because my seat was closer to the steering wheel. I was surprised when I was able to get in with no problem. Called my hubby and he reminded me I moved my seat closer over the weekend, LOL! It felt so good to know I dont need my seat pushed so far back anymore :-)
