I did at the age of 25!  Not too bad for my 50 year old butt.  I am sticking to the plan 100%.  No cheating, no wiggling, no "well, maybe this one time".  

And, I realized today that I am only 9 flipping pounds from entering "one-derland".  Which is crazy for my former 447 pound "I used to have to stand on two scales (one foot on each scale) and add the weights together" brain to wrap around. 

I am so thankful for the wisdom shared on this board by the Vets.  :)

consult weight 241 (had not been accurately weighed for over 10 years, my medical records just said "wheelchair") high weight was probably closer to 260.

Just- WOW!  Super good for you.  Move over guys and gals--a new neighbor is about to move her increasingly slender self into the onederland community.

  goal!!! August 20, 2013   age: 59  High weight: 345 (June, 2011)  Consult weight: 293 (June, 2012)  Pre-Op: 253 (Nov., 2012) Surgery weight: 235 (Dec. 12, 2012) Current weight: 145

 TOTAL POUNDS LOST- 200 (110 pounds lost before surgery, 90 pounds lost Post Op.diabetes in remission-blood pressure normal-cholesterol and triglyceride levels normal!  BMI from 55.6  supermorbidly obese to 23.6  normal!!!!

Great Job!  your surgery was one day before mine and it looks like you have lost a lot more than me since the surgery. Good for you, for staying on track. Success like yours make me want to try harder to stay on track. Thanks for taking the time to post
