part 2)

Dont know what happened in original post but, I go on to say that it is so hard to eat and drink that much and I'm further frustrated when this constipation occurs.  Part of it is a side effect of my medication I know.  Any help / suggestion is appreciated. Thanks for listening.

Water is the key i know its difficult to get it all in but 100 oz of water should be your goal and that means to sip sip sip basically always be drinking. I add 2 teas of benifiber to my protein shake every morning and to hot green tea at least two more times durimg the day. I am seven months out and still find it difficult to add in veggies, i also take stool softners twice a day. Lots of people use metimucil but that did not work for me. Water and walking are the most important good luck

you are so right about the sipping of water....my instructions were to wait 90 minutes after eating before you drink any water/fluids.  SO I'm constantly watching the clock....it shouldn't have to be this complicated.  I appreciate your truthfulness about the number of times you add fiber/lax and stool softeners. I'm doing it all so the attacks are far and few between. Thanks loads.

Are you using miralax or similar at all?  When I get constipated, I add miralax to my daily shake and it seems to help.

coffee does help and I used to drink the decaff because I'm not allowed caffeine. But even decaff hurts my stomach.  Thanks for your input and eating a salad may be the way to go...can't hurt.  I'll try anything.

For me.  Lots of water EVERYDAY.  Metamucil multigrain wafers EVERYDAY.  3-4 Fiber tummies EVERYDAY.  And other things like edamame etc.  I have to do this EVERYDAY or I will have a problem too.
