Question for Vets or people further out
Do you still completely stay away from carbonation with fully matured sleeve? There are times I just want some fizz in my life.. like sparkling water (or Prosecco, not going to lie!). Do you guys still stay away from carbonation?
I had a diet coke a couple of weeks ago. It was no problem and no discomfort but I sipped very slowly and held it in my mouth forever before swallowing. Kind of grossed me out to tell the truth. Since I don't crave carbonated drinks much I don't think I will be having it again any time soon. I had champagne a couple of times, also with no trouble at all. Again, I much prefer red wine so stick to that pretty much, once in a while. But yeah, so far no problems or discomfort recorded for anything, carbonation included.
Thanks, Tracy! I think I am going to stay away for now. Although on this HOT NYC day.. I saw a Diet Sunkist in the soda case in the store that looked SOOO cold that it called my name. I told it to STFU!
Not a vet......
Not saying to drink carbonation..... But if you were going to do it...... Just do it when your pyloric valve is "open" this way you should not be creating any back pressure. A good hour and a half to two hours after eating.
i drink an occational diet soda... Diet Dew.
