Sept 12 Exercise Report - What are you doing today?

I guess I was feeling guilty about missing my weight workout last night as I woke up at 4:45 AM and could not get back to sleep.  So, I got up and dragged myself to the Y and did 45 minutes of weights and 2 miles on the treadmill.  This is good because I have dinner plans with my wife tonight that would have made going to the Y tonight impossible.   If we get home early enough, I may still go for another walk as I have a pretty busy day tomorrow.  My grandson has baseball practice in the morning and I have family coming for dinner tomorrow night and they want some of my award winning bbq.

12 days into the month and I have already walked 31 miles so my goal of averaging 2 miles per day is well above schedule.

Your surgeon probably prescribed exercise as part of your plan so get out there and take your medicine!

I got up at 5 to go to the YMCA. Very busy evening today so I knew I'd have to fit in my exercise early. I've been having some pain in my knee so I'm careful not to aggravate it. I did about 20 minutes at 2.5 on the treadmill, which is just not doing anything for me exercise-wise and my knee started to bother me so I stopped. Recumbent bike didn't seem to bother it at all so I did 30 minutes and actually worked up a sweat.

I see my doctor on monday and will talk to them about knee pain.

You might try the elliptical.  I found it easier on my knees than a treadmill.

I started the T25 3 days ago so today is day 3! It's the guy who does Insanity but this is cut down into half an hour. It's intense but I love it!
