I walked  9.5 miles over the weekend and I am almost halfway to my goal for the month.  I also did weight workouts on Friday and Sunday.  Today is walking and I will go for 3 miles.

I went for 2 hours on the bike yesterday, broken up at the hour mark by watching the end of the Army 10 Miler for about 30 minutes.  If anyone ever needs some damn inspiration, watch a double amputee crossing the finish line of a 10 mile race.  Pretty awesome.  I'm contemplating doing another ride today, since it will eventually get too cold around here to bike (at least for me).

AND, I am now starting the process of becoming a possibly competitive Strong(wo)man athlete!  Throwing kegs around, pulling a car with a harness, grabbing some atlas stones, that kind of thing, NBD.  I have literally only had 1 session, but I've signed up for 6 more with a personal trainer in Strongman and I know this is something I can be good at.  I'm super pumped about it.  Next session is tomorrow night and I'm gonna hurrrrrrt for the rest of the week!  Love it!

I am trying to listen to my body and am taking it very easy this week.  I have been sick for almost a week.  I have been pushing my body very hard the last several months.  This week I'm probably going to keep it to light walks and yoga and lots of sleep.  Let's see if I can manage this (I am totally addicted to exercise endorphins).

I'm working on the sleep thing too. I've been so fatigued recently!  I think some of it is B6 withdrawal since I had to stop the Scivation stuff due to B6 toxicity. But the rest is just that I've been too damned busy recently. And this week is just as busy!

Last night I walked 4.1 miles in 1:07.  I did the first 3.1(5K) in 50 minutes.  Tonight is weights at the Y and I am adding the elliptical into my routine.   I tried the ellipitical Sunday and I got in 3 minutes before my heart rate got too high and figured I had better stop.   I have hard time going slow on that machine.   Depending on how I feel, I might walk when I get home.

I went to the Y last night and did 30 minutes of weights and 10 minutes on the elliptical, 5 minutes before the weights and 5 minutes. after.  That machine kicks my tail.
