Miracle Noodles?

They're a regular in my diet. Rinse them well. Dry roast them. Put whatever toppings you crave. They pick up flavors, like onion, garlic, butter, sauce, really well, so you use less. I prefer them to the spiral Cut veggies, although I use them as well.

But as someone else mentioned, they have little nutritional value. Save your valuable stomach space for protein and a little veg.

Thanks for the advice -- still learning my stomach and the protein counsel is perfect.

You're less than two weeks out, right? If I were in your shoes, I wouldn't touch those for a good long time. There's nothing wrong with them, really, but you've got so little capacity right now and you have to make every meal count protein-wise.

Anyway, I haven't tried them post op but I did pre-op. Pre and post-op I have enjoyed zucchini noodles, which I infinitely prefer. I found the texture of shiratake noodles pretty unpleasant. Post-op, I have to make a meal of zucchini noodles a snack because I can't eat them and get my required portion of protein in. So it's a rare thing for me.

I love to replace pasta with zucchini. The texture is great and you don't miss the pasta at all. I got a vegetti and I love it!

I liked them well enough, and it did a great job of itching the pasta craving without going off plan. It was an extra bonus that I could start and finish a meal prep in 5 minutes in my classroom as well. My favorite recipe is the hungry girlfredo recipe. Just make sure you rinse them really well and then dry well. Even my husband will eat it :)

I have never heard of -Zoodles (zucchini noodles)  before. Can they be purchases at a regular grocery store? Are they where they keep regular noodles? I would appreciate any input. Thanks. :-)
