Same day vsg surgery

Wow!  Thanks everyone for the replies.  It's my understanding that my surgeon does the leak test while I am still under anesthesia after he is done with the procedure.  I have spoken to someone else who has gone through my surgeon and she was kept over night since she could not keep any liquid down due to nausea.  He is a well known, highly liked surgeon in my area so he must be doing something right!
