Good morning All! We went to the town band concert last night and tonight we are going to a show at another outdoor venue. Summer on Cape Cod is full of these activities.

QOTD: Nope, not superstitious. In fact, youngest DD was born on Friday the 13th. She came to us through adoption and we had the best luck when she came home from the hospital directly to us a few days later.

2 Years, 3 months post-op (maintaining at goal for 19 months)

Always lots of coffee...

B: eggs, cottage cheese and Canadian bacon

L: tuna salad, pickles and cottage cheese

D: out to dinner - not sure, but will be primarily protein

S: nut thins and hummus

Happy Friday the 13th! 13 is actually a lucky number in our house. My daughter was born on the 13th of Sept, and both kids always wore 13 for sports uniforms. In June I won $350 on #13 on roullette.

QOTD: I do things like knock on wood and avoid walking under ladders, but for the most part don't really buy into superstitions.

B: 1/2 sesame bagel with homemade jam, iced coffee

L: leftover ravioli

D: idk

E: walk -it's nice here today

L/V: good

I am also a knocker of wood. Except when I lived in England. Then it was "touch wood."

The 13th is a good day -- my lovely husband is a 10/13 birthday.

No real plans for the day, other than continuing to make ice for the ice chest on our trip. (I sound a bit boring.) I am pretty much packed for the week; hard to remember its cooler up north than in NC, so I almost always forget something. We are selling the motorcycle - I think at 66 and 71, its probably time.

QOTD: Are you a superstitious person? What superstitions do you have? I'm in the South, so yeah. I do 3 crosses on the windshield if a black cat runs across the road (autopilot more than belief), I do knock on wood (and add praise God), and I do automatically throw spilt salt over my left shoulder. Do I think catastrophies happen if I don't, nope.

B: Coffee, Premier Protein shake

2ndB: 2 pieces well drained bacon, 1 slice Mountain grain sprouted bread

L: Ham & cheese rolle up with dijon

S: ???

D: Oikos Greek Yogurt, maybe key lime

Lots of water. Biotin & Vitamins on track.

Happy Friday the 13th! My brother comes home today!!!! We've got our signs made (including a blown up picture of his head) and we will all be greeting him at the airport in red, white, and blue. I'm so happy!

QOTD: It is so funny to read this thread because 13 has always been my lucky number and I've never been around other 13ers . I have won stuff with that number, been promoted on Friday the 13th, lost my virginity on Friday the 13th lol, it was my jersey number in softball, and today my brother comes home from Afghanistan!

I am not actually superstitious. I participate in several superstitions around luck & sports but I don't really buy into them, it is more for the fun of it - they're like family traditions :)

B - coffee & protein

L - yogurt and almonds

D - roasted chicken & broccoli

E - therapeutic yoga
