Questions about regularity and constipation come up so frequently.. do you think there should be a "constipation or regularity forum" that deals exclusively with such topics as stool softeners and laxatives?

Hi!

That is a great idea. Why don't you create one? You can create your own group here at OH and then invite folks from the Main Board.

If you need help creating it (I think you can do it with no trouble though!)-let me know and I will give you some pointers.

No kidding miralax has saved my life. Benefiber did nothing for me at all. A dose of miralax daily keeps things going!!1

I'm with you. I need all the help I can get. What works for one doesn't always work for everyone and I am also finding that I have to mix it up. What worked for me one day doesn't always work a couple days later.

Re: Miralax. Thanks for the suggestion.. But isn't that a laxative? When do you cross the line into laxative abuse or overuse? Ideally, I'd like some scholarly or expert advice for people on what is safe to take, and how often.
