New to this... Surgery is next week

Hey Everyone!  I am 33 years old and I am scheduled to have the RNY on Tuesday, April 12. I am starting to get a little nervous and excited at the same time. Does anyone have any good advise for me? Thanks!

Sorry Rattdurden, I don't have any advice for ya. But I do have all kinds of support. I too turn 33 this month and hopefully my surgery will be scheduled before the end of the day !! So good luck!!!

Be as informed as you can be.  Read posts here and in the RNY surgical forum.  Don't over buy protein supplements before surgery.  Most people have a dramatic change in tastes and find they don't like what they bought.  After a few months, your tastes will likely change again.

Read the messages about stalls.  They are to be expected, so if you know, you won't have to post about how unhappy you are.
