Borrow -- from a family member or your own 401K (if you have one)

Sell -- something that you have -- or many things you have

Save -- until you can afford to pay cash for it

My advice....DON'T do it on credit.

Save the money you need and pay for it outright....that way you'll already 'own it' when you have it done.

There is always room to save on day to day items. If you plan on financing it why dont you just save the amount per month you would pay on the loan and interest?

Don't ever borrow on your 401K that is horrible advise.
I say just wait until you have the money.

Where are you getting a tummy tuck for $3,750?  That is a good deal.
I have the same problem.  I am getting some money soon, too, and I have already spent it all.  At least in my head.

There are "medical" credit cards that you can apply for. Like CARECREDIT.
They are a little easier to get and offer 0% financing for a certain number
of months. However, if you don't get it paid in full they will charge a ton
of interest. So you have to be very careful! On the other hand if you
know you have money coming soon either wait for it to come in or try
and borrow from family and if you do, make sure you make it official,
write up an agreement so they know you are gonna pay them back.
Borrowing money from family and friends is very tricky. It could cost you a
friendship so think really hard on it.
