Wondering if there's anything different I could be doing as a recent RNY. I'm feeling extra dehydrated. Are there any special drinks you have when you're sick?

Is juice or soup a good idea or should I mostly stick to water?

Keep yourself hydrated ... if you are recent RNY and are still sipping sip sip sip A LOT ... I think in the almost five years post RNY I may have had a cold once or twice maybe ... I hydrated a lot and loved a bowl of chicken soup on those cranky days in bed with a cold ... if you are early out and still on liquids or clears stick to your plan ... I personally don't see any problem with soups jus****ch the sodium content and stick to broth if you can...

Feel better... when in doubt ALWAYS call you medical practitioner ...

RNY 2/5/07 no regain having implemented lifestyle changes....

Thanks for the reply. I'm far enough out for solids so I might try some chicken soup later.
