How many days off for hubby?
I was 58 when I had my RNY and I was in the hospital for only 22 hrs.
I went home and was sort of down for about 4 days. I did walk EVERYDAY and by day 4 I was up to about 1/4 mile again.
I stayed with my daughter for two weeks because my doctor was out of state for me.
If your hubby took off a week that will probably be enough.
