I had RNY 2 and half years ago. Was doing great untill last week, when I started to have abdominal pain and ended up in the OR with small bowel obstraction due to adhisions, Im home now and Im more or less OK now. Anybody else with this experience and what we can expect in the future?

At a seminar i went to this week the surgeon said bowel obstruction after surgery was a complication that was a possiblity for the rest of your life after the surgery. So sorry for your problem. Hope all goes well.
