Its been a while since I posted. It has been a little over a month since my surgery and I am doing great. I am so thankful to be off the diabetic medicine, it really made me feel bad. I have so much energy now, planted a garden this weekend. I am down 35 pounds from my highest weight. My fiancee calls me new and improved. He told me yesterday how proud he was of me and said he was worried about the surgery before I had it, but now he is happy I did it. I am happy I did it too. Thanks everyone for your support too.

You are doing really well,  Good for you.  Be sure you keep drinking your water.  Yes, it gets old, but it is so important.

When you hit your first plateau, which may be soon, don't freak.  Give your body time to adjust to the new and imporved you.  If you want to jump start the weight drop again just eat soups for a few days.  However, wait a week or so before you start that.

Your body really needs the time to adjust to the massive changes that are going on inside and out.

Best wishes and keep us posted.  Best place in the world to come for help.
