Got my call today...

Got the call from the surgery group that my insurance is approved and my consult is July 16, I was disappointed but my surgeon will be on vacation in July. After the consult, my surgery should be scheduled within the next 3 weeks which puts me around mid August.  I was hoping to get the surgery before school started but this has been a year coming and I am beyond happy. I cried when I got off the phone. My husband has stage IV bone cancer and I am praying he lives to see me complete this journey and we are able to do all the things we have to put off because of my weight and limited mobility. He is my biggest supporter and has been my rock thru all the ups and downs this past year.  Yippee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I fought for the DS and won!!!!!!!
