Medical Bill Consolidation - Questions
I believe my surgery will be covered by insurance, but I will still be responsible for 20% (up to $4,000) plus a $500 deductible. After the estimate from my surgeon's office, my portion would be $4,500 total. Although I can set up payment plans with the various offices, I would rather consolidate all the bills (surgeon, hospital, anesthesiologist, clinics, etc.) so I have one simple payment.
If you have experience or have heard of any reputable companies that do this, please share any information you might have. My research has mostly resulted in companies that negotiate your debt down (based on your income). I'm not interested in that. I just want to consolidate all the crazy bills I will receive.
Thanks in advance for any information you're willing to share.
