Another step closer!!!

I met with my surgeon yesterday and decided on the RNY. Now just a few more steps and i should have a surgery date. I am scheduled to have blood work done this Fri., I have to see the nutritionist and have a mental consult and the dr wants me to have a transnasal endoscopy done next week. The only other thing we are waiting for is the letter from my PCP and I should have that next week. getting nervous and excited all at the same time. 

Two questions. Your profile gives your BMI as 25, which is in the 'normal' range. Why are you having WLS? (I assume your BMI is wrong!)

Second: What's a transnasal endoscopy, and why do they want you to have one?
