Huge Bruise - help

I am 10 days post op and today I wore some blue jeans.  Now I have a HUGE bruise on my lower stomach on left side...not near any incision site.  It is near the spot where they gave me heparin shots while I was in hospital.  It is normal to develop such a bruise so far post op?  This really has me freaked out.  It looks like huge vessel blown.

I'm 7 days post op and the same exact thing happened to me today.......not the jeans part, but noticing for the first time that I had a MASSIVE bruise on my right side where they gave me most of my heparin shots. It doesn't hurt, strangely enough. It's just damn ugly!!! lol. I think it might be normal blood coming to the surface from all the poking around the surgeons did inside us....maybe? lol that's my guess. Its a bruise from the inside for sure, not from the outside.
