I had a post-op practice day today
I am on my 2 week preop diet - max of 20 carbs/day.
Today, I experienced the joy that is dense protein and ended up with numbers that look like a post-op totally by accident. My MFP stats look like this:
620 calories
9 total carbs with 1 fiber for a net of 8
94 g protein
27 g fat
It was a busy meeting day today and I ate out for all 3 meals. I knew where I was going and researched carefully thanks to MFP. I found that by lunch i was just not that hungry - could not finish my lunch and chose not to finish my dinner.
This tells me - I CAN DO THIS!
Sleeved 6/12/13 - 100 pounds lost to get to goal!
Wow! What a day you have had today. You can do it! I know you can do it. Keep up the great job you are doing. I can see that you are going to rock WLS (weight loss surgery) in pre-op and post-op. You rock!
I rocked my weight loss surgery. I am coming up on three (3) years post-op.
I wish you the best on your journey.

Good job and great idea of having a "practice day". I've been trying to supplement one meal with protein shakes. I liked them so much that I did 2 meals and since they are low cal (170) I usually have a small peice of lean meat with it or a salad with very little dressing. I gained 4 lbs. SMH I see from what you did that I was going about it all the wrong way. Thanks!!! I also cut carbs completely (well, refined stuff).
