Oh no! Is back pain normal? What does your surgeon say?

I bet it's that horrible gas everyone talks about.

I had terrible back pain after my C-sections from the position they had me laying in during surgery. I had terrible gas pain after the RNY all through my abdomen and back and was just really sore. If it feels more than general soreness, say something. I kept calling my doc about my pain and they kept telling me it was normal and two weeks out I insisted the pain I'm having is not normal and they ordered an endoscopy where they found an awful ulcer. It feels like someone it stabbing right through me just under my breastbone in my diaphram.  If you feel something is not right, speak up. Some pain is normal but if it's killing you, call your doc.
