Everything is going well after RNY10. Following DR instructions to the letter! So glad the gas pain seems to be over. I went out with my wife today for about 2 hours Christmas shopping and I feel like I just ran a marathon! When does a body start to adjust to the lower calorie levels? When does the energy start to come back?

The energy comes back when you've fully recovered from your surgery, which usually takes several weeks, and when you're getting adequate protein and fluids in.

For me, it was probably 4-5 weeks. Hang in there, it will happen.
