Well i went to my primary doctor and made the PCP letter and all the visit i have with him and also I went to see my psychologist doctor for my evaluation letter but both doctor told me they would fax the letter to Dr. Sosa office,

My Question is when  you went to see your doctor's did they gave you all the letter so your insurance approve your surgery or they sent it via fax or mail?

I'm a bit worried and have to redo everything  arggggggg the anxiety is killing me lol.

I don't understand why you think you might have to redo everything?

My insurance didn't need anything from my PCP.  They didn't need anything from the doc that did my psych eval, either, but my surgeon required something from my psychiatrist.  My psychiatrist faxed the info to my surgeon but I got a copy from him, too.

Ask your doctors who they are sending info to and request a copy for your own records, too.

Please note: I AM NOT A DOCTOR.  If you want medical advice, talk to your doctor.  Whatever I post, there is probably some surgeon or other health care provider somewhere that disagrees with me.  If you want to know what your surgeon thinks, then ask him or her.    Check out my blog.

My primary doctor told me she would fax my letter at the end of each visit for 6 months. After my first visit with her I waited a few days and then called my weight loss center (surgeons office) to make sure they had gotten it. My psychologist did the same thing. After my last consult with my primary doctor I called to make sure the office had all my paperwork to submit to my insurance company and all of them were titled bariatric or weight loss consult. Never hurts to check behind them..

I never received anything personally it was all faxed to the surgeon's office. I assume that is the norm. The cardiologist, the pulmonologist, the psych all faxed.
