Primary doctor in Western Washington

Hello,

I am new to the forum and am 1 month into my 6 month monitored diet required by my insurance.  I moved to Western WA about 2 years ago and have yet to find a primary care physician...I was wondering if anyone on this forum has any suggestions for a primary physician in the Bothell/Mill Creek area? I am a 26 year old male and just looking for someone I can be comfortable around, someone who has experience with obese patients.

Your surgeon might be able to refer you to someone who's good with WLS patients.

Don't know what insurance you have, but a lot of them have an 800 number on the back of the card that you can call to get a list of docs accepting patients in your area.  The larger insurance companies also have websites that you can log on to and do a search for primary care physicians in your area as well. 

Personally, I'd start with what Ms Batt said, if you already have a surgeon.  If you don't have anyone at all yet, hit your insurance company up for a few names.

You can also ask friends and neighbors in the area who they recommend.
