Receiving the sleeve on Tuesday. I am so ready for this new phase of getting the old me back. Been working on fluids, no sugars, watching the carbs.  How did you handle the first few weeks? What are your favorite proteins? Suggestions welcomed.

Depends on what your doctor recommends.

For the first two weeks I drank liquids only.  Weeks 3-4 were pureed foods. Week 5 began soft foods with gradual introduction to "normal" food.

When you hit the pureed stage, check out Eggface's blog for great recommendations.

The first few weeks are challenging as you learn to adjust to your new stomach.   Be patient,  follow the food plan recommended for you and all will get better with time.

I'm an Unjury Chocolate Splendor girl, all the way.  My husband has started using Syntrax Nectar cappuccino and it's delicious too!

I haven't had surgery yet but trying protein drinks to see what I will like.  So far I like the premade fudge chocolate from EAS AdvantEdge and I just ordered a bunch of samples from Nashua Nutrition to try.
