Brachioplasty-Swelling

I just had bilateral brachioplasty done last Wednesday and my arms are obviously swollen. I was wondering if when they swelling goes down, if my arms will look smaller or not? I wasn't sure if they'd look smaller or just different. I'm also concerned that my skin will sag if they get too much smaller.

Also, has anyone ever gained weight immediately after their surgery? I'm 6-10lbs heavier and I've been eating healthy before and after my surgery. The surgeon said they took off almost 1 lb from each arm and after the surgery, I was 3 lbs heavier. Even 7 days post op, I'm the same weight. Ugh!

Swelling=fluid retention=weight gain on the scale.

I used flexible ice packs on my Armani the evenings, that helped with the swelling a bit.

Yourarms will look smaller as the swelling recedes, but you should expect some swelling for several weeks, possibly months.
