How long does the 3 week stall last?

I'll be 4 weeks out of surgery on Thursday. I haven't stalled but am loosing slower than I was at first. I'm down about 21 pounds since surgery. Does the rate of weight loss usually pick back up or does it stay at this slower pace. Not complaining, just want to know. I know everyone is different. Just wondering about it in general terms.

It will most likely, speed up, slow down, speed up, stop altogether for a while, speed up, slow down, etc.

I lost 21 pounds in my first month also, and I was twice your size. I think I did ok.

It will slow down. As you weigh less, it gets harder to lose as fast. It's just the way it works, so expect it.

I've noticed I'm a stair-step loser. I'll lose a LOT in a week or two, and then stall for about 10-14 days before I drop significantly again. I've come to terms with that. I just keep following my program and it all works out.

I know lots of people have to put away their scales; a stall drives them nuts! All I can say is hang in there! As long as you keep doing the protein and water (and vitamins of course) it will work out in your favour.

Wishing you luck!
