Confused newbie here

Hi guys I am new to the boards. I'm looking to get a vsg . I am just wondering what anyone's experience with the empire plan ( ny civil employees)  through united insurance with getting approved. Also I have a bmi of 38 and some comorbidities such as high blood pressure , and high cholesterol but no other comorbidities , I have had a hard struggle losing weight I gained after my dad passed away and I'm really hopping I can get approved. Any advice and insight would be appreciated!thanks
