I have not had my surgery yet. I am waiting for the insurance approval. My wife wants to purchase a blender for post op. Which would you recommend.

Consumer Reports rates the Ninja VERY highly, so that's what I went with.  It's SUPER.  I only ever use my food processor for shredding now.  All the other processing I do is done with these gadgets.

I have the nutribullet 900. It's pretty good, no complaints, nice & compact so it doesn't take up much counter space. I like how it blends up seeds & frozen fruit, veggies, etc, very strong motor but it's a little pricey. I used my coupon from bed, bath & beyond to bring the price down.

I already had an Emeril Blender for my house.

I never bought anything else, and it's been great.

Best of luck!

I have the Nutribullet and love it.  Usually have to add more water than what is called for, drinks  end up very thick especially for the first month.

Any blender can mix liquid with protein powder so you need nothing special, really.
