Excited! And a question!

So today 10/29, I meet up with the dietitian and on 11/6 I have my psych eval. And pray from there it will be smooth sailing with the insurance company.  Here is my question, has anyone ever did the "cabbage soup diet" for their pre op? I've seen many many posts about a liquid diet for pre op surgery.

Congratulations!  Your dietician/nut will give you the pre-op diet they want you to follow.  Follow it; they know what they are doing.

Ditto to what momjan told you.  Your dietician already has the nutritional protocol that you'll need to follow.

Congratulations on moving forward to the date of your surgery.

Follow the diet your doctor gives you as close as you can. I did and had zero complications. Good Luck!!! and Congratulations

Whatever your doctir tells you. Mind you, pretty sure it will not be a cabbage diet!.,

Highest 290, Banded - 248   Lowest 139 (too thin!). Comfort zone 155-165.

Happily banded since May 2006.  Regain of 28lbs 2013-14.  ALL GONE!

But some has returned! Up to 175, argh! Off we go again,
