I am in my pre op dieting and was told that after RNY or Sleeve I wouldn't be able to drink any sort of alcohol any more. I am a social drinker, maybe a few beers a month or a glass of wine once or twice a month. is this true?

Alcohol hits you much harder after surgery. I don't drink, but I've heard from a lot of folks that one beer will have them half asleep.

There's a reason for the term "beer gut." Check the number of calories in most alcoholic drinks.
