Wow! I can't believe it's been that long since I became an OH.com member. It's been 5 years & 1 day ago today (03/29/2015), I became a member of this wonderful site on 03/28/2010. Where did the time go? A lot of things have gone of in my life sine I joined. One thing I have to say that I did fall of the WLS Journey Bandwagon and gained about 10 to 15 pounds which I need to take off. Some of my bad habits came back (bad habits die hard). I have to kick those bad habits out to the curb and keep them there. I just have to get back on that WLS Journey Bandwagon and stay on it and make sure those bad habits don't come back and kick me off again.

What better time than on a 5 year anniversary to restart and kick those last hew pounds to the curb! I've been on here for over 8 maybe 9 years every single day even in the hospital in fact that is what helps get me thru the day and block out pain. I've seen so many people fall off the wagon but the smart ones get right back on and stick to it. So go for it and get back to the protein and veggies and kick those bad habits far away again.

:-) ...that's what I'm doing to those pounds that came back on. I rejoined the last week after being out of the gym for 2 years due to health issues and undergoing a few surgeries. I know I have 1 surgery for my left hip, I hope to have it done this year. You have me out beat there in being here for that long, glad to hear that this site has helped you to get through in what you went through while in the hospital. Same hear in seeing many people fall of the wagon and so on. That's what I'm planning in doing, thank you for reminding me Hislady, that's what I'm going to do to the bad habits and tell them who's boss.

Thanks again Hislady.

Its so wonderful to hear from you and see you again Watson!  You've undergone such a wonderful transformation here before our eyes - not just weight health and self confidence -wise but by developing your photography talent...becoming more outgoing ... your journey over these five years has been amazing to witness.

I too have get back on the health and fitness bandwagon ... thank God that my tool is still working and I haven't regained a terrible amount .  I am very willful about eating carbs and snacking throughout the day ... and much less than disciplined about daily exercise .  I know what I need do - make myself my priority .  Its hard particularly when the " new life " means financial pressure and other new pressures and temptations .  I never lose sight of where I came from though- nor gratitude that God has allowed me to come so far.  ((( big hugs )))) Ava

It's wonderful to hear from you and see you too again Ava! I have and still going at it with the transformation into this year, I still have a long road ahead of me in overall body health - yup - I like photography, sometimes I surprise myself. :-) ...thank you.

Really? You & I are in the same boat, Just last week I rejoined the gym at the YMCA. Great to hear that your tool is still working for you. Same here with me about the snacking and the carbs throughout the day. Discipline, workout, eating healthy, portion size is the key(s) to a butter in oneself to succeed. Indeed, we all do to make it a priority. It is hard for us all. I feel the same way that I never lose sight where I came from too - me too.

((( big hugs ))) Watson.
